Introduction:-

P.S. is a high speed random winding machine. It is a double sided machine. Is a both side on end cheese can be wound on the other side of the machine. in this machine cross wound package Is build.

Object:-

1. to convert ring frame bobbins into the cheese or cone packages.
2. to convert smaller package into the bigger package.
3. it removal objectionable fault like thick and thin places, snarl, slub, etc…
4. it removals of hairiness from the yarn surface.
5. Special packages such as for dyeing purpose can also produce on PS mettler winding machine.

Passages of material  though P.S. Mettler winding:-

           In this machine the supply package is ring frame Bobbin obtained from the spinning department. Ring frame Bobbin are mounted on the creel section which is provided at the bottom. The yarn is pass through the balloon breaker rod which is a break the balloon formation and also maintain the yarn tension during process. after that the yarn pass through the fish shape unit. Which is consists of disc type tensioner. It also called self threading device. Which is removal thin place than after come the mechanical clearer to remove the thick place for The yarn. And lastly yarn pass through a waxing device which improve the efficiency of process and Also good for yarn.

The yarn then passes through feeler. It check the process of yarn winding during breakage of yarn. And after yarn passe through the cone and then wind in package. Package is rotate by the frictional contact of the grooved drum.
